What is Basketball Dream?
Basketball Dream is a web-based Basketball Management social game. We’ve created a basketball management and game simulation engine along with a multitude of industry factors to provide you a semi-real basketball management experience.
Player Contribution Value (PCV)
A formula about how a player contribute to the team in Basketball Dream
(PTS + OREB + AST) + [(DREB + STL + BLK) x V] – [(2PTA – 2PTM) + (3PTA – 3PTM) +(FTA – FTM)x 1.5 + TO x 2 + PF]
Energy
Each individual player has their own energy. Street /Team games and training will deplete energy. A player with lower energy will become tired and fatigue. The performance will be handicapped and easily get injury. You can boost player energy by purchase "Energy Plus" energy drink by using Dream/Reward Points directly.
In addition, your player energy will recover by 1 point automatically every 6 minutes.
Morale
Morale is an indicator of a player’s mental index. It’s a reflection of contract details, team chemistry and the team's win/lose streak, and it will affect player performance on the court.
Fortune
Agent Fortune
Another important indicator of an agent's progress in their career and increase your ranking in the Hall of Fame. Fortune can be gained by:
Achievement of goals
10% commission from signed player contracts
Player Fortune
Player fortune is the money a player earned from team or sponsor contracts. It also an indicator of how a player ranks in the Hall of Fame. The more fortune, the higher the rank in the Hall of Fame.
Fame
Agent Fame:
Fame is an indicator of the progress of your career. You will unlock new features as your Fame increases:
Receive better contract offers
Better rank in Hall of Fame
More messages and contracts capacity
You can get more fame by:
Completion of goals
You will gain 10% of the Fame earned by your players
Player Fame
This will affect the maximum salary when negotiating contracts with teams and sponsors as well as your rank in the Hall of Fame. In addition, you have to increase player fame to get better equipments, Player fame will adjust based upon:
Achievement of goals
Performance in games
Signing contracts with sponsors
Fan
Fan number only increase when a player play in a team. If fan number reach to certain goals, player will get the sponsor offers to get extra income. And the fan number also an indicator of HoF.
Skill Points (SP)
Skill Points (SP) are used to adjust attributes of your players, you can get more SP by:
Achievement of goals
Training
Street Games
Games in each level league
Age
Just like real life, player gets old. When your player reached to the maximum age (500 Days), player will retire. Each level of leagues has the age cap, Rookies 1~50 days, Sophomore 45~100 days, Development & Pro 1~500 days. Players will become Free Agent (will receive the contracts from next level leagues if in a CPU team) when reached the age cap in lower level leagues.
Player Injury
There are two different ways make players get injured:
1. Exhausted
If your player training, play in 3 on 3 or regular games without enough ENERGY,
Player will gain the INJURY RISK,
When the IR over the tolerable amount, player injured,
The healing time will be 1~72 hours depend on how you torment your players.
2. Accident
You know, it's accident.
How to decrease the chance of injury?
1.Don't push your player too hard
2.Get some equipment to slow down the Injury Risk gaining speed
3.Pray
Retirement
The maximum player age in Basketball Dream is 500 days, you have to try your best to make your player become a legend of the game within that time frame. If your player completes a full career, you will received 1 free player. Announcing retirement in advance will only refund 50% of reward points created this player.
Dream/Reward Points (DP/RP)
Dream Points
Dream points are the basic currency of Basketball Dream. They allow you to create players, buy teams, purchase equipments, boost player energy and morale, bailout your own team and gain an edge over your opponents. You can purchase Dream Points directly by Facebook local payment methods.
Reward Points
Reward Points serve the same purpose as Dream Points, but they have an expiration time frame of one year. Reward Points can be collect by:

Viewing random websites and events
Share your playing expierence on internet

How do I make my player perform better?
Attributes help your player perform to a higher level. You can increase the attributes of your players by:
Training
Training is the easiest way to help make improve your player's performance, choose a training drill and the duration of the training session, once your player’s Training Progress(TP) is complete, the chosen attributes will be allocated to your player.
Assigning Skill Points
Assigning skill points have a major impact on if your players will succeed in Basketball Dream. Skill points are earned by playing games, these skill points can then be used to increase attributes of your player. Each attribute costs a certain amount of skill points to increase, this amount will differ depending on player type.
How do I find my User, Player and Team IDs?
When you mouseover the pics on User’s profile, Player profile and Team profile pages, you will see your User ID, Player IDs or Team ID.
Leave CPU Team
You can leave CPU team by return all the received salaries or pay by DR/RP directly. Go Player profile page→ Contracts→ Running Contracts you will see the "Leave" button.
MVP Voting Rules
The MVP Voting duration is from Day 39 to 50 each season and the result will be on BD fanpage and News.
Different roles in the league have different number of votes daily: Players 1, Managers and Coaches 2, Team Owner 5.
Not vote in time daily will be forfeit.
Only players in first three winning teams each conference be selected.
PCV is the first priority, then leaders in two stats or leading in scores.
Trade Rules
Have to trade with teams in the same league.
Only Team Owners and GMs can send out the trade proposals.
Only Team Owners and GMs can Accept/ Reject/ Retract the trade proposals.
Only trade with human teams. (for now)
Only 1 on 1 trade.(for now)
Huaman owner team can send out 3 trade proposals once
Owners or GMs of non repeat owner human teams in the league can veto the trade in 24 hrs.
Trade canceled once over half of human teams vetoed the trade.
The roster change once the trade finished the veto period.
Trade terminated after season day 28 (trade deadline)
What is RSDP Team Coupon?
Rookie, Sophomore, Development, Pro team coupon from goals is for agents purchase NEW team in each level for FREE.(Not for extension)
What is Time Limit Free Player?
It's FREE Gift from the game to make agents create players for free in certain time.(Mostly before Day 7)
